Our Story
We wanted one good towel. It took four years.

The Beginning
Lumora started in a hotel in Kyoto, with a towel that behaved differently to every towel we owned at home. It was heavier without being dense, and it dried skin in a single unhurried pass.
Four years of mill visits later, the answer turned out to be unglamorous: fibre length, loom speed, and the discipline to skip every chemical shortcut that makes a towel feel soft on the shelf and stiff by spring.
We make a short list of pieces, in a narrow range of colours, and we do not change them seasonally. A towel is not fashion. It is the quiet infrastructure of a good morning.

Luxury, defined as restraint.
No logos on the pile. No seasonal palettes. No trims that fray. What remains is the cloth itself — and the confidence to let it stand alone.
